PDF Scanner AI is designed to keep normal scanning, signing, OCR, and PDF editing on your device. We do not sell personal information.
Scanned documents, imported PDFs, signatures, and locally extracted text are stored on your device. They are not uploaded for normal scanning, file management, signing, merging, splitting, compression, or export unless you explicitly share them.
When you explicitly use an AI feature and confirm the notice, selected extracted text and your instruction are sent over HTTPS to our secured AI proxy and then to our AI service provider. Full PDF files are not sent. Requests are used to return the requested result and enforce abuse and usage limits; document text is not sent to advertising or analytics services.
Apple or Google processes payments. Purchase identifiers and verification receipts are sent to our server solely to validate access, prevent fraud, and enforce plan allowances. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
We may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for aggregate feature usage and diagnostics. Free users may see Google AdMob ads after any required consent. Advertising identifiers may be processed where permitted. Pro users do not receive ads. We never send document names, file paths, document text, signatures, or AI prompts to analytics or advertising systems.
Anonymous entitlement and quota records are retained only as needed to provide access, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations. We use HTTPS, server-side purchase validation, short-lived access tokens, and rate limits. No system is perfectly secure.
You can delete local documents or the app at any time, decline personalized advertising where available, avoid optional AI features, and manage subscriptions through your Apple or Google account. For access or deletion requests concerning server records, contact us with the anonymous installation information shown in the app support flow.
The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when material changes are made.
